[Beware: Season 3 spoilers below. Proceed with caution.]
Everyone who’s caught up with season 3 knows that Klaus’ hybrid underlings (part-werewolf, part-vampire) are at risk. Klaus (Joseph Morgan) needs Elena’s blood in order to make more hybrids. With the new season 4 promo, Elena’s options look a little grim: Become a vampire or die. Both of which will eliminate Klaus’ ability to create a hybrid army.
TVGuide.com has revealed two actors that will plays Klaus’ hybrids in season 4. Blake Hood (90210) and Alyssa Diaz (The Nine Lives of Chloe King) will play Dean and Kimberly. TVGuide.com reports that “Hood will appear in Episode 5, while Diaz will first pop up in Episode 6.”
Since hybrids might become an endangered breed, we can probably assume that Klaus will be a little more protective of his “progeny” this time around.
And to make matters even more complicated for Klaus, he’s currently stuck in the body of Tyler Lockwood (Michael Trevino). Klaus invaded Tyler’s body when he felt that his own life was at risk. Things are going to be a little crazier in Mystic Falls. Especially since Caroline (Candice Accola) still thinks Tyler is Tyler. Now that’s a case of mistaken identity.
The Vampire Diaries returns with new episodes Thursday, October 11 at 8pm. Are you excited for the new hybrid additions?
