Beads. They are everywhere.
Beaded bracelets, beaded necklaces — a style that is not only gripping the nation, but is also making its mark on an international scale. Everywhere you look, it’s all about colorful beads. Whether they’re made with semi-precious stone, wood, bone, metal, or macrame, you’ve seen them in boutiques, on celebrities, and on your friends.
What’s more — this style isn’t just for us women. Even our favorite men are jumping on the bead train and are sporting beaded accessories. Male celebs like Chris Brown, Joe Jonas, Jay-Z, Johnny Depp, and Justin Bieber to name a few.
They’re especially stylish worn in stacks, and can be worn dressy or casual. Some have charms, some have tassels, some have rhinestones. And if you want to get into top designer lines, some even have diamonds. Why am I loving this trend in particular? Because it’s a fun way to express your own sense of style, and to me, that’s what fashion is all about: finding different and unique ways to share your personality with those around you.
Some of my favorite designers for the beaded-jewelry trend are Nialaya, M.Cohen, and Velina.
