John Barrowman, a fan favorite from Torchwood and Doctor Who, will join the cast of CW’s Arrow in a recurring role. Entertainment Weekly first reported the news.

Little has been revealed about the actual character Barrowman will be playing, the producers hinted that he’s “well-dressed” and “as mysterious as he is wealthy.” By most of Barrowman’s bio pictures, the man always looks classy in style. Thankfully there is a bit more information to go on: “He is an acquaintance of the Queen family and a prominent figure in Starling City.”

So cryptic. Put your sleuthing hats on, lovely readers! Is Barrowman possibly playing a character from the Green Arrow comics? Torchwood fans will probably want to tune in now, so catch the premiere of  Arrow on October 10!
