It’s no surprise that the highest-grossing film worldwide will be adding a sequel. What may be shocking is the addition of three sequels. In 2009, Sigourney Weaver played a scientist in Avatar. She confirms that three films will be added to the franchise, and they will all be filmed simultaneously.

Sigourney Weaver confirmed tonight that James Cameron is shooting “Avatar” 2, 3, and 4 all at the same time, all with her, and starting this fall.
